First Friday Dupont: Art Walk

Friday, March 1st from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

March comes in like a lion, and we are ready for First Friday!  Gallery spaces will be open from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for a self-guided art walk around greater Dupont Circle.

Join ArtJamz for their Party like Banksy at our $15 Graffiti Night and get 1 hour of studio time to paint the wall plus 1 complimentary wine or beer. The lounge will be open for liquid inspiration and jamming tunes. Afterwards, purchase additional studio time and canvas and let your vision come to life off the wall. The Embassy of Peru will be featuring Caral: The earliest civilization in the Americas – a photographic exhibit by Christoper Kleihege.  The Caral Civilization is considered one of the six “cradles of civilization”, joining Mesopotamia, Egypt, China, India and Mesoamerica.  The Embassy of Peru is located at 1700 Massachusetts Avenue, NW.  Visit

The Heurich House Museum is highlighting the beginning of Women’s History Month on March 1st.  Stop by the Heurich House Museum to celebrate women with coloring pages featuring historic American women, a bar with local beers, self-guided tours of the first floor (including the exhibit “HOME/BREWED: How the Chr. IA&A at Hillyer is featuring Michal Gavish’s Crystal Architecture, which maps urban buildings of central avenues in the US capital.
